The NRAI Chennai Chapter demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility through a generous CSR activity aimed at supporting community animals. The members donated Rs. 51,000 to Voice of Trust Animals (VOAT), a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and treatment of community dogs and cats. This contribution was intended to help fund the procurement of essential medical equipment for VOAT's ongoing efforts in animal health and well-being.

On May 29th, 2025, the core committee members of the NRAI Chennai Chapter visited VOAT's facility in Porur, Chennai. During this visit, they had the opportunity to see firsthand the impactful work being carried out by VOAT in ensuring the health and safety of community animals. The chapter's visit reinforced their support for animal welfare initiatives and their dedication to making a positive difference in the community.

During the visit, the NRAI Chennai Chapter officially presented a cheque of Rs. 51,000 to the VOAT management. This financial support is set to assist VOAT in acquiring vital medical equipment, enabling them to perform surgeries and provide ongoing care for their 100 community dogs and cats. The chapter’s CSR activity not only highlights their compassion but also emphasizes their role in promoting social responsibility and community service.
